Workshop Postponed – Yoga 3X: Philosophy, History, Practice

March 6th, 2010

Eric Shaw’s workshop will hopefully be rescheduled for fall 2010. Check back soon!

Discover the fundamentals of Yoga! Yoga is 2-millennium-old bodily art that integrates ancient wisdom from India.  It evolved through centuries of experimentation and received full expression through philosophies, personalities and momentous events in both India and America over the last 200 years.

Receive the fully-ripened fruit of this rich practice by immersing yourself in a weekend devoted to yoga philosophy, history and practice by experienced yoga teacher and scholar, Eric Shaw

Over the course of three decades, Eric Shaw has explored extreme athletics, martial arts, meditation and yoga.  After receiving degrees in Art, Education and Religious studies, he turned fully to yoga, teaching it for the last 9 years.  Currently a Ph D student in Hindu Religion and Philosophy, he has developed workshops on the tradition that integrate unique practices, Powerpoint lectures, and fun demonstrations to fully explain to students what yoga is.   See more on his work at www.pranasana.com.
